STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

On Saturday night we went to the State Football Championship game in Las Vegas. The Moapa Valley High School Pirates were playing a team from California called the Truckee Wildcats. It was a lot of fun and got quite cold. It was mostly sweatshirt weather, but we were glad that we brought the blankets. Robert stayed home to watch the BYU/Utah game on TV and so it was just Hallie, Maison, Sadie, and Me. Hallie sat with a bunch of her friends and Sadie soon joined her. Maison remained true to me and sat by me. I really appreciated her that night because she kept me company and we really had a lot of fun people watching.

POPCORN AND TWILIGHT

On Friday night, we went to see Twilight. I picked the girls up right after school and we made it to the 4:00 movie. We were worried that it would be really full, but we really didn't have anything to worry about because there were plenty of seats. Sadie didn't really want to see the movie. She wanted to see something else instead, but she relented and came. I think that it was just for the popcorn, drinks and candy. Go figure!!! The movie was great and after we got home she made this fabulous hat out of the popcorn bucket and just thought it was the greatest thing. The things that kids find entertaining!!

FLAG FOOTBALL GAME

Sadie had a flag football game on Saturday morning in Logandale. When we got there we saw a team of all boys really practicing hard and we were kind of worried. Sadie's team has only 3 boys on it and they are not very "sporty" boys and there are about 6 girls also on the team. Needless to say the team of all boys creamed our team and wouldn't really let up until the last little bit. It was really sad, but the kids still seemed to be having a good time just being able to play. It would have been nice to get at least 1 touchdown, but hopefully with practice that will happen!!

SATURDAY AT THE PARK

Saturday we went to the fairgrounds in Logandale to watch Sadie play Flag Football. I brought my camera to take pictures and Hallie found out and wanted to do the picture taking. I let her and when she came back she had taken over 80 photos and only about 10 were of Sadie's game. She found one of Maison's friends at the game and she got her to go and take pictures with her and so here are a few of her fabulous shots. Maybe she will either be an actress/model or a photographer/graphic designer when she grows up. You never know!!!

Hallieboballie

Hallie is always trying to take new pictures of her to put on just about anything. She has just about almost any angle possible. For some reason, she just doesn't seem to think that she gets it right the first time!!! Notice any difference? It is always the same poses just maybe a little different color or outfit. HA! HA!

MAISON! MAISON! WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT MAISON!

Maison is great!!! She was waiting with me at the park until Sadie was done with her flag football practice and she just couldn't resist playing on the playground. Doesn't she just look like she is having the time of her life?

SADIE MY LADY

Sadie is always involved in something or other. She just got done with soccer and now she is playing flag football and clogging. We thought that she would probably be one of the only girls on her team, but it looks like the boys are outnumbered. There are only 3 boys on her team and the rest are girls. She came home the other day from school and said "I think that I am gonna be good at flag football Mom!" I asked her why she thought that and she said "because I ran all the way down the field, through everyone, and no one was able to get my flags and so I must be good!" I told her that she must be!! SHE IS AWESOME!!

Hot Stuff

Robert was getting ready for a loaded Halloween night by trying on his hippie wig. I wore a long hippie wig also and we looked like quite the pair. You know Robert and his freaky costumes!!

Miss Powder Puff

Hallie played on her Freshmen powder puff football team. They played with the Seniors and won the Junior and Sophmore team during Homecoming week. She had an awesome time!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Sadie had a fun Halloween party at her school and this is a cute picture of her as a High School Musical cheerleader and her friend Veronica is Sharpay.

What a beautiful family!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Pinegar came down to St. George to their condo for a week and they came and spent a weekend with us. Robert took this cute picture of us after church on Sunday.
