Hallie's Prom 2012

Hallie got asked to her Senior Prom by Kaden Brown. She went with 4 other couples and they had a great time! The date started Friday evening after the baseball games and they had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows and had smores. The next morning she got picked up early and they were taken to eat breakfast and then they went skeet shooting. After skeet shooting they went into Vegas and went to Pole Position and raced cars and then went ice skating. After doing things all day they came home and she got ready and Kaden came and got her and we took pictures and then they left to dinner and the dance. This year the dance was held outside on a terrace at The Trump Towers. She had an amazing time!

Prom 2012

Hallie got asked to prom today. She got a bunch of balloons and a huge box. She had to pop the balloons to find out the question and then had to unwrap the box to find out the answer. She started popping the balloons and as popped a balloon, confetti would fly everywhere. It was really funny to watch her. She started to unwrap the box and it was wrapped and duct taped and wrapped again and when she finally got it open it was filled with little tootsie rolls that we had to unwrap to find the initials of his name. So fun!!! Now we are left with a huge bowl of unwrapped tootsie rolls. She is excited to go and pics will follow later:)
So.........

Life has been crazy!  I have decided to take up blogging again because I am getting tired of the Facebook thing and all of the crap that goes along with it.  I think that this might be a better way to be able to post the things that I like and am interested in and be able to share my feelings with those that care.    So..... here is my first post and hopefully many more to come.

PHOTO SHOOT

Maison has a friend that wanted her and Hallie to do a photo shoot for his Aunt and Uncle so they could add some more photos to their Gallery and Blog. They had a lot of fun doing it and I think that some beautiful pictures came out of it. You should definitely check out their blog at joshuaedenphotography.blogspot.com. Here are just a few pics from the Photo Shoot!

Cheer Camp 2010

At the beginning of August I went with Hallie and the MVHS Cheerleaders to an elite cheer camp at Knotts Berry Farm in California. We left at about 4 am Monday morning and the girls spent the entire week learning new dances and routines and having fun. They got done around noon on Thursday and then they went to the park and rode the rides for a few hours and then were too tired and so we headed home again. The girls did an awesome job and received a superior rating in everything they did! Here are some pics from the trip.

The Warm Springs Fire 2010

This is what happened at our house on July 1, 2010! I woke up to see this outside my window and called 911 and the rest is history. We were forced to evacuate and really didn't have time to grab anything except for a few important things and a few animals! We left out to the highway and thought that our house would be gone when we returned. It was engulfed in smoke and ash all day long but the wonderful firefighters worked diligently all day and night to save our home and they were successful! The only remnants that we have are the red fire retardant and the burned bushes and palm trees that surround our house! The LDS Warm Springs Recreational Facility wasn't so lucky and they burned to the ground. The 3 sets of missionary couples that were there lost everything and the pictures are unfortunately in the wrong order with the after pictures first. Sorry!

SADIE MY LADY

SADIE LAREE JOHNSON turned 11 years old on May 14, 2010. Here are a few pictures from her birthday. It is hard to believe that my youngest is almost in Young Women! This was her last year in Elementary School and next year she will be in the middle school.
